Can you tell me what you would recommend/advise not to ever ever buy/things I will absolutely need? Specifics only, please. I asked a male friend who has a kid and he said- "uhhh... buy baby stuff."

ps. I should mention that I am babytarded. for instance, wtf is a burp cloth? I see them at the store and there are big ones, small ones, terry cloth ones, fuzzy cotton ones... they're just for the baby to burp on, right? and to clean up barf? So basically, a bunch of kitchen towels are ok... right? eeps.
